Energy Healing Sessions

Everything is made of energy and vibration. Energy therapies help to restore the healthy balance of the energy field by clearing blockages and addressing imbalances.

Energy healing is found to be a beneficial tool for pain management, stress management, depression and anxiety, as well as to achieve mental clarity, relaxation, spiritual growth, and an enhanced sense of inner peace, connection and well-being.

Energy Work helps to release unwanted patterns and energies; improves immunity; aids in recovery from surgery, chronic or acute illness/pain; and brings support during times of transition. It can also connect people to their life purpose; facilitate deep healing from abuse, trauma, and neglect or grief; and has been shown to minimize the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Reiki Bodywork

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki energy is a subtle energy.

Reiki energy flows from the practitioner's hands into the client. The client is usually laying on a massage table but treatments can also be given while the client is seated or even standing. The client remains fully clothed. The practitioner places her/his hands on or near the clients body in a series of hand positions. These include positions around the head and shoulders, the stomach, and feet. Other, more specific positions may be used based on the clients needs. Each position is held for three to ten minutes depending on how much Reiki the client needs at each position.

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. It works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

Thai Massage Bodywork

Thai Massage

Thai massage is a healing system that combines broad and targeted acupressure, stimulation and manipulation of energy lines and assisted yoga postures.

During a treatment the recipient remains clothed. There is constant body contact between the practitioner and client, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked in order to clear energy blockages and relieve tension. The practitioner uses thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to create a dance of movement on the body of the recipient. In this process, joints are opened, muscles and tendons are stretched, internal organs are toned, and energy is balanced. The overall effect is one of deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and physical and mental well-being. Based on healing principles similar to those of other Eastern healing arts, the Thai system focuses on circulation of vital energy in major pathways called sen. Energy lines are manipulated, and important pressure points along these pathways are stimulated to help break down blockages, stimulate energy flow and restore balance and harmony.

The result of a full-body Thai treatment is often a powerful mind/body healing experience, bringing heightened states of physical and spiritual well-being.

  • Wellness Service Policies

Arrival to Your Wellness Session:

Please arrive for your appointment 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out the new client form, change and prepare for the service. All wellness treatment sessions have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service may be shortened in order to keep on schedule and the original treatment time may be charged.

Cancellation Policy and Fees:

Your Wellness Treatment times are reserved exclusively for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the office scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of $50 ($30 for a half-hour session). Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, our therapists not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an “on call” status and may have traveled to the office specifically for your service. For these reasons, we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time.

All services require a credit card to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment and are not obligated to use their credit card for payment.

Late Arrival Policy:

All wellness sessions have a specific time schedule therefore we regret that late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will be charged.

No Show Policy:

We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings and children’s illnesses, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment. However, we ask that you call if you cannot keep your appointment. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification may be charged in full for the scheduled service.

Informed Consent:

Prior to each Wellness session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us you will be asked to sign the treatment consent form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional wellness treatment policies and procedures. Clients who we have not seen for at least a year may also be asked to fill out this form.

Reservations:

In order to help ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Details of our cancellation policy are provided below.
*Please notify us of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.

Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries:

Our Wellness Service providers are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, work longer on an area or move on if you request it.

The client may choose to refuse any treatment methods and stop service at any time.

Professionalism:

All wellness services are professional, there will be no sexual contact or conduct at any time between any client and a therapist. Should a client behave in a manner that violates this professional boundary, the session will be ended and the client will still be required to pay for the session in full; but will be asked to not come back.

Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind is NEVER appropriate.

Cleanliness:

We do not have showers in our office, please bathe prior to your scheduled appointment. Avoid wearing strong perfumes or cologne. Wellness Service Providers may refuse or discontinue treatment at any time, for any reason; including but not limited to poor hygiene.
