Class Descriptions

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness is an ancient practice that is rapidly gaining popularity in the West. It is intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. We will begin with a 20 minute gentle/restorative yoga practice followed by 40 minutes of Yoga Nidra. All welcome!

Restorative Yoga

This class is appropriate for all students seeking the benefits of a relaxing, gentle and therapeutic practice. Restorative yoga improves range of motion and joint mobility, reduces pain and the effects of stress.  We utilize yoga props to support the body allowing you to be comfortable in every pose. No prior yoga experience required for this gentle practice.

Hatha Basics

Hatha Basics is an introduction to the physical practice of yoga (asana) and breathing (pranayama). This class provides detailed instructions focusing on proper alignment, including modifications for all needs. Appropriate for those with little or no experience, as well as practitioners interested in reconnecting to the fundamentals of the practice.

Shala Flow

Shala Flow is our “House” vinyasa. This class is designed to improve strength and flexibility as you move through a slower paced vinyasa sequence. Shala Flow is suitable for those comfortable with Sun Salutation A, standing poses, basic backbends and building strength for more advanced poses.

Vin/Yin Fusion

Vin/Yin Fusion is a balanced practice including a meditative flowing sequence complimented by Yin stretches. This class is a perfect balance of playfulness and mindfulness, leaving you feeling balanced and refreshed.

Candlelight Yin

In yin yoga we target the connective tissues, along with the energetic systems of the body, bringing the body into balance and increasing its natural range of motion. Poses are done while seated or lying down and are held in stillness for 3-5 minutes; encouraging breath awareness and stillness of the mind while surrendering to the pose. This practice will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and restored. 

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga is designed to support expectant mothers in a relaxing practice. In this class we will explore gentle yoga poses to soothe the body and center the mind. Our goal is to leave you feeling more connected to yourself and your baby. Appropriate for pregnant women of all levels and any stage of pregnancy.

Hot Vinyasa

Hot Vinyasa is a unique combination of dynamic breathing and strong asana to cultivate body awareness and inner strength. Taught in a heated room, this class will invigorate your body as you flow through creative and powerful sequences. This class is suitable for students seeking to take their asana practice to the next level.


This class follows the same basic principles of the Ashtanga Yoga system in a modified/shorter duration. It emphasizes the breath (Ujjayi pranayama), focused gazing (Drishti), and dynamic movements (Vinyasa flow) that connect the poses (Asana).


Kundalini is a blend of asana, mudra, mantra, pranayama and meditation. The practice of Kundalini enables us to harness the energy of the mind and the emotions, so we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings. This is yoga for everyday life. The Kundalini yoga experience presented as taught by Yogi Bhajan is said to go right to your heart, your core as you experience your highest consciousness. By approaching the practice with openness and respect, you can change your life.

Women Only/Prental Friendly

In this class we will explore yoga poses to soothe the body and center the mind. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment of sisterhood to connect with self and others. Appropriate for ALL women (prenatal welcome).
